Night 1: Ha Noi – Lao Cai
20:00: a car will arrive to take you to Hanoi railway station in time to board the 9:15pm overnight sleeper to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train.
Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Lao Chai - Ta Van (B/L/D)
5.30am - arrive in Lao Cai, you will be met by your guide and driven to Sapa. The car ride uphill to Sa Pa takes a little over an hour, giving you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. After breakfast in a local restaurant, you will have a more than an hour for relaxing and then follow your guide to trek down to the valley. You will have an alfresco lunch by a local streamside before continue to Tan Van Village of Dzay minority people where you will experience the first night at homestay. Dinner will be cooked and served by the house owner. Overnight at the homestay.
Day 2: Ta Van – Ban Ho (B/L/D)
Today you will have a full day trek along local paths, up and down hills, through villages of different hill tribe people. One more picnic lunch is served by a streamside. Continue your trekking route until reaching to Ban Ho Village of Tay minority people. Check in your homestay and follow your guide to nearby waterfall for swimming (if weather permitting). Dinner and overnight at stilt house of friendly Tay people.
Day 3: Ban Ho – Sapa – Overnight train back to Hanoi (B)
After breakfast, you will have a short but hard trek uphill to the main road where your driver are waiting to pick you up back to Sapa. You will be free for the remainder of the day in Sapa for shopping and exploring the town by yourself before heading to Lao Cai Railway station for an overnight train back to Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi arrival
Arrive early morning (around 05:30-06:00) at Hanoi Railway station. Tour ends at the railway station.
