MKG06: Along Mekong Delta to Cambodia 3 Days/2 Nights

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Can Tho (L)
On arrival, you’ll board a boat to cruise on the Mekong River and rowing through small canals and channels to Thoi Son Island where you’ll disembark and walk along a small village road to visit fruit gardens, the elementary school, the local distillery, and witness the daily life of Mekong villagers. You’ll have chance to sample some of area’s tropical fruits and watch a traditional music show. After lunch at a local restaurant on the island, you’ll climb back on the boat to visit a coconut candy workshop. In the afternoon, drive further to Can Tho city for overnight.

Day 2: Can Tho - Cai Rang - Chau Doc (B/L)
Starts from Ninh Kieu boat quay, cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries by a rowing boat, visit the Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). See the beautiful scenery and daily activities of the locals. Walk around a village, visit a rice husking mil and a rice noodles maker. Then continue to Chau Doc via Long Xuyen. Check in on arrival. Visit the Sam Mountain to enjoy the breath-taking view on the Vietnamese-Cambodian border. A visit to Chua Su pagoda at the foot of the mountain can be arranged. Over night in Chau Doc.

Day 3: Chau Doc - Phnom Penh (B)
After breakfast, you’ll board a cruise ship hydrofoil to travel upriver to Phnom Penh.
