1/Description Vinh Hung 1 Hotel in Hoian is located in the center of Hoi An Ancient Town; it is only 100m from the Japanese Bridge and is conveniently located for guests to visit many other famous places.
The original Hoian Vinh Hung 1 Hotel is a 125 year-old Chinese trader's home a block from Hoi An's Japanese covered bridge on Tran Phu Street. For those who really want to soak in Hoi An's architectural flavor, stay in one of the two second-storey rooms in the original wooden house. Furnished with antique furniture and oriental rugs these rooms are the real thing. These rooms have a balcony overlooking Tran Phu Street and it was one of these Special Chinese rooms which recently served as Michael Caine's dressing room during the filming of The Quiet American.
2/Accommodations
Vinh Hung hotel includes two adjoining houses: a 2 floor house in front and a 3 floor house in the back. Because of the traditional style, the rooms are a bit dark and stuffy and the stair is narrow. The hotel comprises 12 Chinese rooms equipped with international standard: IDD Tel, mini bar, TV, AC & fan, table & chair, en-suite bathroom, hair dryer (on request) and safety box at reception desk. Suite rooms: the suite rooms still have the old traditional architecture and atmosphere but now also have all the comforts of a modern hotel room; it is the perfect combination of modern comfort and old traditional style.
Special Chinese: these rooms on the second floor give you the feeling of staying at a museum. The rooms are decorated in traditional Chinese style and have a balcony with a beautiful view on the romantic old town. The Special Chinese rooms, of course, also offer you all the comforts of a modern hotel room to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. It was one of these rooms that Michael Caine used as a dressing room while filming the Quiet American.
3/Restaurants and other facilities Vinh Hung Restaurant is at the adjacent house, Lounge bar serve snack, coffee, wine.
