HN05: Hoa Lu - Tam Coc 1 Day Tour

7:30am: depart from your hotel to travel to Hoa Lu – the former capital of Vietnam, about a two hour drive from Hanoi. You will visit two temple, one of them dedicated to Emperor Dinh and the other in memory of Emperor Le, followed by a brief visit the remains of the Old Palace. Drive to Tam Coc for lunch at a local restaurant overlooking to the wharf. After lunch, you will visit Tam Coc caves, a peaceful valley among limestone ‘karst’ hills, There, you’ll be rowed along a gentle river between paddy fields and through the caves. On the way back, you’ll disembark for a pleasant stroll (about 2km) through the rural scenery to Thai Vi temple. Drive back to Hanoi. Tour ends at your hotel at 5pm.
