1/Description Built around 1960 and the latest renovation was in 2002, Army hotel is the only one three star hotel in downtown Hanoi having a swimming pool. The large swimming pool with garden surround it, located at peace and quiet place are feature that make the Army hotel is one of the prettiest hotel in Hanoi, especially for long stay.
As its name suggests, Army hotel is the hotel belong to Military Ministry of Vietnam.
The Army Hotel in Hanoi is located in the middle of the city on the most peaceful street of Pham Ngu Lao. Army Hotel is next to History Museum and right behind Opera House, just five minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake.
2/Accommodations
Army hotel has 69 comfortable and extremely cozy rooms. All the rooms have a balcony which overlooks the outside scenes and also a private bathroom with shower, bath tub and a hair dryer. Internet connecting, satellite television, telephone, mini bar and tea and coffee making machines are also available in the rooms.
Deluxe: 24m2, some with pool view, no extra bed is allowed. Suite: 55m2, with garden or pool view, can be two bed rooms or one living & one bed room.
3/Restaurants and other facilities
The restaurant is quite small with not much menu to offer, but there are many delight restaurants are within walking distance.
Other facilities: business center, outdoor swimming pool, children swimming pool, conference facilities, sauna.
4/Packages and Rates
The rates quoted are in US$, inclusive of breakfast, 5% service charge and 10% VAT No extra charge for children under 12 when sharing beds with parents (inclusive of Buffet Breakfast)
Add US$10 per extra bed. Maximum one extra bed in one room, except the Deluxe room.
Check in time is from 2:00pm and check out ime is at 12:00 noon.
Early check in before 8am is at full charge (maximum for 2 pax with buffet breakfast) and after 8am is subject to the availability.
Extension of late check-out is subject to availability and will be charged as follows:
Check out until 17:30 – 50% of room rate (maximum of 2 pax with linen and amenities in room)
Check out after 17:30 – 100% of room rate (maximum of 2 pax with linen and amenities in room)
