Saigon is Vietnam's most cosmopolitan city, once known as the "Pearl of the Far East". On this tour explore the bustling city, discover the riches of the Mekong River and experience the amazing Cu Chi tunnels.

Day 1: Arrive Saigon (D)
You will be met by your guide on arrival and transferred to your hotel for a two night stay.

Day 2: Saigon - Cu Chi (B/L)
A morning city tour of Saigon will visit the historic landmarks, including the Old Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, the former Presidential Palace and Cho Lon, the city’s bustling Chinatown. In the afternoon, drive out to Cu Chi to visit the incredible underground tunnel network built by Vietnamese guerrilla fighters during the long years of war. Return to Saigon. (B)

Day 3: Saigon – Can Tho (B/L/D)
Leave Saigon early for the 3 hour guided drive to Cai Be, stopping en route at a bonsai garden for morning tea. By motor boat visit the colorful floating market, and stop to see some cottage industries producing rice paper and pop corn cakes. Cruise along by boat towards Vinh Long province, winding through the small shady canals and watching fishermen at work. Step ashore to see a musical show depicting Mekong cultural life, and visit some local farm gardens. Travel on to Can Tho by car. Stay over night in Can Tho. (B,L)

Day 4: Can Tho – Saigon (B/L)
Another early start, this time to cruise to the large floating market at Cai Rang with traders busily bargaining and exchanging goods on their colorful boats. Visit a noodle factory and a rice husking mill. Leave the boat at Cai Rang and travel back to Saigon by road, stopping at My Tho for lunch. Arrive Saigon early afternoon. (B,L)

Day 5: Depart Saigon (B)
Leisure until private, without-guide transfer to airport for exit flight. (B)
