Grand Luang Prabang hotel and resort is situated on grounds of the Xiengkeo Palace which belonged to the famous nationalist hero of Luang Prabang, Prince Phetsarath. He chose this site for tranquility, its stunning views of the mighty Mekong River, and the breathtaking landscape of mountains surrounding Luang Prabang.
2/Accommodations
The Grand Luang Prabang is the premier destination in Luang Prabang, with its own style and identity. The hotel comprises 76 luxurious rooms and 2 suites, all gracefully decorated. Rooms are facilitated with individually controlled air conditioning, hair dryer, IDD telephone, full mini bar, remote control colour TV with choices of international satellite programmes, a writing table with stationary, bathrobe and slippers. Deluxe: 35m2, located in the garden, each room has its own balcony overlooking the immaculate gardens and mighty Mekong River.
Mekong Deluxe: 35m2, 12 rooms, located on the guest building that's closest to the Mekong River more than others. Executive Mekong Suite: 76m2, located at the ground floor in the beautiful garden overlook a panoramic view of the Mekong River through large floor-to-ceiling windows throughout with walkout balcony. Spacious living room has the right atmosphere for relaxation. Mekong Suite has two bathrooms, one with separate bathtub and walk in shower. King-sized bed or twin beds are also available. Kitchen area with microwave, coffee set, utensils, and refrigerator are ready for self-catering light meal. Presidential Suite: 111m2, at the ground floor facing the majestic Mekong River. The connecting room of this suite makes it the ideal for big family that loves to stay exclusively private. The suite has spacious living room with large floor-to-ceiling windows throughout with walkout balcony to private garden. Next to the bed is a bay window seat for relaxing and gazing splendid view of the river. King-sized and twin beds in two bedrooms are designed to fit for big family with connecting door. Three bathrooms, one is separated bathtub and walk-in shower and the other two are standard bathrooms. Kitchen area with microwave, coffee set, utensils, and refrigerator are provided for family recipe light meal.
3/Restaurants and other facilities Restaurants: Le Bistrot Lounge serves light meals and a boasts a full bar. Xieng Keo Restaurant: A breakfast buffet is served in the morning on the terrace and the restaurant is open daily from
6.00 am until 10.30 pm. Serving light lunches to full dinners the international cuisine features Western, Thai and Lao dishes. The Sunset Bar: The bar is open from 11.00 am - 7.00 pm daily has a full bar accommodates 30 people and serves light food.
Meeting and Events: offer a variety of sizes and configurations tailored to your needs and can be held in the Richelieu or Voltaire meeting rooms, Xiengkeo Restaurant, & Le Bistrot as well.
4/Packages and Rates
The rates quoted are in US$, inclusive of breakfast, 5% service charge and 10% VAT Check in time is from 2:00pm and check out time is at 12:00 noon.
Without extra bed: Maximum of one child under 12 years of age can stay in their parents’ room with an additional charge of ABF for child.
With 1 extra bed: Maximum of two children under 12 years of age can stay in their parents’ room including breakfast for 2 children.
Extra bed is available with a surcharge. Maximum 1 extra bed in one room.
Early check in before 8am is at full charge (maximum for 2 pax with buffet breakfast) and after 8am is subject to the availability.
Extension of late check-out is subject to availability and will be charged as follows:
Check out until 17:30 – 50% of room rate (maximum of 2 pax with linen and amenities in room)
Check out after 17:30 – 100% of room rate (maximum of 2 pax with linen and amenities in room)
