The Independence Hotel was built in 1962 and completed in 1963. Back then, it used to be Sihanouk Ville's most luxurious and elitist accommodation. While the 7 floors building was the work of renowned French architects of that epoch, the interior was designed by no other than King Sihanouk, the ruler of the Kingdom of Cambodia during that era. The Independence Hotel was definitely one of Cambodia's most reputable hotels and perhaps the tallest architecture of that period, playing host to the finest people and Grand Events.

Today, fully restored to its former beauty and glory, The Independence Hotel offers the discerning traveler superior, deluxe or suite rooms, all with breathtaking views overlooking the sparkling pristine waters of the ocean. 4/Packages and Rates
The rates quoted are in US$, inclusive of breakfast, 5% service charge and 10% VAT
No charge for children below 5 years old occupying the same bed as the parents.
For children between 5 and 12 occupying the same bed as the parents, there is a fee of 50% of the cost of the breakfast. 
Add US$...00 for extra bed, maximum 1 extra bed in one room.
Check in time is from 2:00pm and check out time is at 12:00 noon.
Early check in before 8am is at full charge (maximum for 2 pax with buffet breakfast) and after 8am is subject to the availability.
Extension of late check-out is subject to availability and will be charged as follows:
Check out until 17:30 – 50% of room rate (maximum of 2 pax with linen and amenities in room)
Check out after 17:30 – 100% of room rate (maximum of 2 pax with linen and amenities in room)
